This is my first solo record. Yes... It's a "REAL" record.

Written & Recorded January-February 1999 in Queens, NY on my Tascam Porta Two, and originally released in March 1999 on cassette. Only 50 copies were handmade before I went on a two month coast to coast solo tour of the USA with The Gravel Pit. They were supporting their Silver Gorilla record and I thought that I should have something to sell at the merch table after my opening set. I was broke at the time so I bought a box of clear blank tapes somewhere in Manhattan and for the artwork, found the received stamp in my desk at an office job Pete Hayes & I shared at the time also in Manhattan. I stayed up late each night making real time dubs from the DAT master and hoped that I would be finished before I left for the tour.

The tapes quickly sold out on what turned out to be a very, VERY fun two months on tour. By the time we returned to the east coast, The Gentlemen were born and I used some of this material as a template for our first shows and record (Ladies & Gentlemen).

With this new version, you get a few different things. I won't tell you what they are....that's the fun part.
