NYC 1997 / 1998
Most of these were recorded in my Queens apartment on a Tascam Porta Two 4 track cassette (Maxell XLll). There are also a couple from sessions done in upstate NY on a Tascam MS-16 track 1 inch (Ampex), which were briefly considered for an aborted solo debut.
The songs that have live drum tracks were recorded at a rehearsal space in Queens.

Since I was renting an apartment in NYC, I had limited equipment to make these recordings. As you will hear, a Gibson acoustic, shakers, an annoyingly loud and overused tambourine (not green), a Telecaster Custom, small Gibson amp, a Roland tr 505 drum machine, 1 Boss DR-110 Dr. Rhythm Analog Graphic Drum Machine, and a recently purchased Farfisa Mini Compact (thanks Jed) which I couldn't seem to get enough of.
Further comments on this purchase throughout the individual tracks.

The majority of these recordings were made as guides/drafts (I dislike the word demo) to listen to and then later improve the lyrics, arrangements, or to realize on playback that the song was not good and would not be pursued any further. The two covers were done for fun, of course.
I picked these 14 from around 60 home recordings I made in 1997 / 1998.
